"Liepāja Latvian Society House" is a historical building and cultural space, which was built in 1935 as a symbol of independence of the Latvian nation in order to preserve the Latvian identity in the consciousness, culture and history of the nation.
Today the Liepāja Latvian Society House is a multifunctional and competitive cultural centre and an important venue for historical and other cultural events in the centre of Liepāja, right at the Rose Square. The Society House ensures cultural accessibility and the preservation of national identity today, paying the greatest attention to the promotion of Latvian cultural heritage, making it as accessible as possible to all segments of society.
The Liepāja Latvian Society House is available for renting out for different events, concerts, conferences, seminars, art exhibitions and celebrations. Full conference equipment, high quality digital multimedia projectors, modern stage lights and sound equipment are all available here. The staff of the House provide event management in the Liepāja Latvian Society House premises: The Great Hall, the Chamber Hall, the Exhibition Gallery and the Ballet Hall.
